Biography
Masayuki Nogami was born in Japan, he received B.S. and M.S. from Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITECH) and obtained his PhD from Osaka University. Now he is professor of Department of Advanced Materials in NITECH, President of The Japanese Sol-gel Society and Chair of Glass Division of Ceramic Society of Japan. His main research interests include ceramics, glasses, metal nanoparticles, hybrid materials, sol-gel chemistry, and synthesis of advanced materials for optic and fuel cell applications. He has authored over 400 academic papers.
