2008 International Symposium
on Micro/Nano System Technology
(Co-organized
by Ritsumeikan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University
and Hanoi University of Technology)
18 - 21 December, 2008, Hanoi, Vietnam
The purpose of this symposium is
to promote a cooperative research network on MST (Micro
System Technology), and MEMS/NEMS (Micro/Nano
Electromechanical Systems) in Asia. In this symposium,
researchers and students can present their work, exchange
ideas, discuss the problems that impede better understanding
of the field, and make cooperative research plans. Through
this symposium, education for young researchers and students
in MTS/MEMS will be encouraged. This significant scientific
activity will promote the adoption of MTS/MEMS technology by
industry, thus contributing to solve the global issues and
to create a peaceful world. We hope that this joint
symposium will be continued, and the next symposium will be
organized in Japan, China or another Asian country.
